Birthday Parties Where the Birthday Child Ran the Van
Happy Birthday chimes, a surprised crowd, and the birthday child serving their friends from the hatch.
June 2015 was a busy month for birthday parties. At Joshua's party we arrived playing our Happy Birthday chime, to the surprise of all the children and parents, then invited the birthday boy on board to serve his friends. He pulled some great-looking Mr Whippys.
The same month Isabella had her turn behind the hatch, serving ice creams to her friends at her party, and her family wrote to us afterwards to say the van had been the highlight of the day.
At the end of the month we rolled up to an 11th birthday party in Wilmslow, again with the birthday chime, and the birthday girls jumped on board and did a grand job serving all their guests.
We invite the birthday child to serve whenever it's safe to do so, and it's usually the part of the party they remember most.
Thank you so much for today, it really made Joshua's birthday and he really enjoyed it.
