Helping Students Register to Vote at the University of Manchester
A day on campus in NUS-branded t-shirts, using free ice cream to get students signed up to vote.
In May 2017 we spent a day at the University of Manchester supporting an event that encouraged students to register to vote. Turnout among young adults is famously low, and we were glad to do our bit.
We were parked on campus from 11am to 4pm on a warm, sunny day, serving Mr Whippy and plenty of other flavours. Our staff wore National Union of Students (NUS) branded t-shirts for the day.
Signing up to vote can be a hard sell, and the ice cream turned it into a fun, memorable occasion. For campaigns and awareness days we can add your branding to the van and personalise the ice creams.
