Three Events in One Saturday: Manchester, Bury and Alderley Edge
A postgraduate BBQ, a company's 15th birthday and a hospice fundraiser, back to back.
One Saturday in July 2017 took us across three very different events. First was the University of Manchester's Postgraduate Summer Barbecue, marking the end of the academic year with a bouncy castle, sumo wrestlers, a barbecue, and our Mr Whippy and wafers to finish.
Next we went to Bury for Car Benefit Solutions' 15th birthday party, held in a striking historic building with a summer theme: deckchairs, games, crazy golf and a bouncy castle.
Finally we went to Alderley Edge Cricket Club for Francis Fest, which was raising money for the Francis Hospice. The weather was turning by then, but everyone still had a great time and the fundraising target was met.
Summer weekends book up quickly, but we always try to fit in every request, so it's worth asking even if your date is close.
