A Barn Wedding at the Holford Hall Estate, Plumley

On 30 July 2016, straight after the Speedway World Cup final at Belle Vue, one of our vans headed to a wedding at the Holford Hall Estate, booked through Kristin of Mr and Mrs W.
Holford Hall is a privately owned estate in Plumley, Cheshire, surrounded by 130 acres of countryside. The wedding was at Holford Barn, a lovingly restored 18th-century building with fields and gardens behind it, and a marquee set up for the day.
Guests knew we'd arrived when the van swept down the tree-lined avenue decorated with bows and ribbons and playing "Here Comes The Bride". The happy couple jumped on board and served their guests themselves, handing out ice creams, lollies, tubs and other treats.
Wedding bookings can include ribbons on the van, a wedding chime and the bride and groom serving from the hatch.
