A Surprise Wedding Reception in Tabley, Cheshire
A secret marquee reception, a bride arriving by helicopter, and the ice cream van as the final surprise.
Robert planned his entire wedding reception as a surprise for his guests, and for his bride Emma. The venue, a marquee in the countryside at Tabley in Cheshire, was kept secret; all 80 guests arrived by coach and Emma arrived by helicopter.
We were the final surprise of the evening, arriving once the party was in full swing. Alongside the classic cones we created a few specials for the couple, and some guests ended up serving from the van themselves.
At the end of the night, the bride and groom told us the ice cream van had been the best surprise of the day, even better than the helicopter.
