Airbus UK 75th Anniversary Family Day
Two vans serving a 30,000-strong family fun day for the 75th anniversary of the Broughton plant.
Airbus UK marked 75 years of its Broughton wing plant with a family fun day for its 6,000-plus workforce, each of whom received five tickets. More than 30,000 people attended between 9am and 5pm.
The day had plant tours, stunt shows, Spitfires on display and a line of vintage Porsches and Ferraris. We ran two vans to keep queues short for a crowd that size, and the 99s kept selling even after the clouds came over in the afternoon.
It's one of the largest events we've catered, and it shows what we can handle when a corporate family day needs more than one van.
