You can't get more central than this: in July 2017 we parked up outside Selfridges on Exchange Square to serve people coming to Clownfest, a two-day festival of clown and comic performance from some of today's top entertainers.
It was a slightly rainy Friday, and plenty of shoppers weren't expecting to find a crowd of performers clowning around in the middle of the city. The smiles got even bigger when they spotted the van serving Mr Whippy.
Street festivals and city-centre events need a van that can set up in a tight public space and serve a passing crowd quickly. Events like Clownfest are some of our favourite days in Manchester.
