X Factor Auditions at EventCity, Trafford
Serving more than 1,500 hopefuls queueing in the sun for the 2016 X Factor Manchester auditions.
When The X Factor brought its 2016 auditions to Manchester, more than 1,500 contestants queued outside EventCity in Trafford. ITV, who we'd worked with before, booked a van to keep the queue refreshed.
We arrived mid-morning on a clear, warm day. Some contestants settled their nerves with a plain Mr Whippy; others went for sherbet-dipped cones and custom toppings before their moment in front of the judges.
Presenter Dermot O'Leary worked the line interviewing hopefuls, and on-set jobs like this one are now a regular part of our TV and film work.
